Fire Station No. 2

The station is at 3906 Station Place, NW, at the intersection of County Rd. 21, Fountain Hills Dr. and Enclave Ave. in the Jeffers Waterfront. The property was considered the most effective for a second fire station by a Boarman Kroos response time study.
Fire Station No. 2 is an important tool in protecting the life and property of the citizens of our growing community, especially in northwest Prior Lake.
The 10,000 square-foot station boasts three apparatus bays, standby area, offices, equipment and storage areas, a meeting room, kitchen, and leased space for tenant Allina Ambulance. Allina will provide vital medical transport and advanced life support services to residents, making sure they get to the care they need when they need it.
Response time is the most important key to delivering effective fire and rescue service, and the addition of the fire station is expected to reduce response times for fire and rescue to three to five minutes for almost all of Prior Lake.
