The Prior Lake Police Department is providing this web page to help reunite pets and owners. This service is not equivalent to filing a police report for a missing animal.
To have a LOST or FOUND pet's information posted on this web page, send an email to Mike Peterson with "Lost & Found" in the subject line, or call (952) 447-9804. Include a photo (if possible) with information about when and where the pet was last seen, a description and contact information.
Each posting will remain for one year. Please report back if the missing pet is recovered or owner found.
LOST CAT: 17-years-old, small yellow tabby with no front claws or tags named Felix (left). There is a reward. Call Dan at (952) 484-7671 or Joan at (612) 802-2581.
LOST DOG: "Chunky" a friendly, male, 11-month-old, Tri-colored English bull dog (right) was last seen near the YMCA. There is a reward if found. Call (651) 788-3394.
FOUND: Black and white cat on Pike Lake Rd., just north of County Rd. 42 around Sept.15. The cat is very friendly. Please call (612) 730-4258.
FOUND: Leopard Gecko at the 36xx block of Turner Dr. SW the weekend of Sept. 14. The owner should contact Luke at (612) 860-9311.
LOST: Female cat named Emma (right) with solid gray short hair and a little white on her back toe. She became lost Aug. 16 from the at 50xx block of East Oak Point Dr. near end of Fish Point in Deerfield. She is declawed in the front. She is probably wary of people, but very nice. LOST: Friendly, black, male pitbull named Brik (left) went missing Aug. 14. He has a scar on his upper lip and back left leg and a tattoo on his inner thigh. Call (952) 607-1883 or (952) 226-6746.

LOST: A seven-year-old seal point Simese cat (left) named Priscilla near the 49xx block of Hickory Hills Tr. and Mushtown Rd. (County Rd. 87). She as last seen Aug. 3. Call Teresa (612) 919-4130 or Chelsea at (612) 462-3913.
LOST: George the cat (right) went missing on July 18 near East Oak Point Dr. and Fish Point Rd. in Prior Lake. He is around 10 lbs. has not been neutered (yet) and still has claws. George will be nervous, but will come to eat. Call (612) 810-5693 with information.
LOST: Four-year-old male orange striped tabby cat (left). Very friendly and has freckles on his pink nose. Missing since July 6t near 150th and Pixie Point Circle SE, Prior Lake, MN. $100 reward if safely returned home. Call call (952) 484-8674.
FOUND: White with brown male dog (right), 16 pounds (Jack Russell terrier mix?) found July 23 near Fairlawn Ave. and 190th street. Contact (612) 875-9909.
FOUND: Male, 38-pound brown dog with long tail (white tip) on July 23 at intersection of Fairlawn and 190th in Prior Lake (left). No collar or tag. Sweet and well-behaved. Call (612) 875-9756.
LOST: A two year old female cat (left) named "Lucy" went missing June 19, 2014 from the 22xxx block of Natchez Ave., one mile south of County Rd. 8 on 91. Email Rachelle with any information.
LOST: My lost cat is a two-year-old neutered male that has his claws (right). He went missing right outside Prior Lake into Credit River Township. He is approximately 10 lbs. Contact Nicole at email@example.com.
FOUND: White cat with orangish-brown ears, long hair, blue eyes, near Mushtown Rd. and Pondview on July 3 (left). He is super sweet and affectionate. Appears to have been missing for some time. Call Lizzie at (612) 327-5324 or (952) 461-6223.

LOST: Male English pointer, white with black ears and a black spot on May 11. Slipped out of collar. Call (952) 440-3170 with information.

FOUND: Male German Shepard (right) on March 28, 2014 near the intersection of Bluebird Tr. NE asd Hummingbird Tr. in Prior Lake. He is neutered, about 75-100 lbs. and about 2-5 years old and is wearing a metal choke collar. He is very friendly and knows commands (down, stay). He is at River Valley Veterinary Service.
LOST: female pug named Star (left) was lost Feb. 19 in the Wilds Golf Course area. She was last seen near Eagle Creek Ave. NE. Star is a timid three year old, spayed and weighs about 15 lbs. LOST: Dog named Oscar (right). Missing since Dec. 10. He is extremely friendly and is wearing red collar with a yellow therapy dog tag. Contact owner Christine at (612) 251-2374.

The best tip for making sure your pet is safe and quickly returned is to have it collared and licensed with the City.

The Minnesota Valley Humane Society has a lot of good tips for what to do if you lose your pet, or what to do if you find a stray animal. The best tip is to make sure your pet has a collar and is licensed with the City.
