Lost and Found Pets
The Prior Lake Police Department is providing this webpage to help reunite pets and owners. This service is not equivalent
to filing a police report for a missing animal.
To have a LOST or FOUND pet's information posted here, call (952) 447-9804 or email a photo (if possible) with
information about when and where the pet was last seen, a description and contact information here,
mtpeterson@cityofpriorlake.com. In the subject line write "Lost & Found."
Each posting
will remain for six months and can be renewed for an extra six months by request at (952) 447-9804.
LOST: Friendly, black male cat with four white paws, white belly and a white face named Socks (left). He has a spot on his nose on the right side. He has all his claws and has been neutered. He got out of an apartment at the 16000 block of Franklin Trail SE. on Monday, Aug. 23. He is nine years old and weighs about 10-15 lbs. Please call (952) 855-4113 or (612) 390-9574 with information.
LOST: Grey/white cat with tabby markings on face, stripes (right). Was out by Bluff Heights Tr. and Franklin Tr. Indoor cat. Has claws and was wearing a purple collar with bell. Last seen on Sunday, Aug. 23 around 10 p.m. Please call Amber at (612) 206-4493 with any information.
FOUND: Small, gray, short-hair cat found in the area of County Rd. 27 at 167th St. and Jennifer Lane in Prior Lake on Thursday, July 22. Please call Amy at (952) 447-0927.
LOST: Friendly, female, silver-gray tabby with claws, no coller. Last seen Saturday, July 3 on Green Oaks Tr. SE in Prior Lake. Call Mike or Chris at (952) 226-6123 or (952) 463-6013.
LOST: Brown/gray diluted five-year-old calico cat (right) with a white on nose named Star. She is about 9 lbs. and she dissappeared from home near Captain Jack’s on Tuesday, April 27. She has no front claws, shy and sweet. She has no collar and does not know the area because she was just recently adopted. Contact (952) 447-6857 with any information.
LOST: 50 lb. black and white neutered male Springer has been missing since Monday, April 20. He wears collar with City of Bloomington license as the owners just moved to Prior Lake over the weekend. Found: Tame pigeon with banded leg has been huddled on our deck and eating from the bird feeder since Jan. 28 near Hwy. 13 & 150th St. in Prior Lake. Please call (612) 209-8485
LOST: Female, six-months-old, black lab pup with a black spot on her tongue. Last seen on Saturday, Jan. 23 wearing a maroon colored collar in the Prior Lake Savage area. $100 reward at (651) 592-2880.
 LOST (two dogs at right) : Male tan and white short hair boarder collie (11 years) named Mikie and a black-golden doodle (1 year) named Quincey. Both are wearing Montana ID tags. Last seen near Lester/New Germany/Plato area (McLeod and Carver County boarder) on Friday, Dec. 11. $200 reward. Call (952) 353-2753.

Minnesota Valley Humane Society - Operates a shelter which receives
and houses animals with a trackable adoption program and deals directly hands-on with animals and their problems at (952) 894-5000.

River Valley Veterinary Service - a full-service
care facility for small animals with an equine ambulatory service at (952) 447-4118.
The best tip for making sure your pet is safe and quickly returned is to have it
collared and licensed with the City.

The Minnesota Valley Humane Society has a lot of good tips for what
to do if you lose your pet, or what to do if you find a stray animal. The best tip is to make sure your pet has a collar and
