Lost and Found Pets
The Prior Lake Police Department is providing this webpage to help reunite pets and owners. This service is not equivalent
to filing a police report for a missing animal.
To have a LOST or FOUND pet's information posted here, call (952) 447-9804 or email a photo (if possible) with
information about when and where the pet was last seen, a description and contact information here,
mtpeterson@cityofpriorlake.com. In the subject line write "Lost & Found."
Each posting
will remain for six months and can be renewed for an extra six months by request at (952) 447-9804.
Found: Tame pigeon with banded leg has been huddled on our deck and eating from the bird feeder since Jan. 28 near Hwy. 13 & 150th St. in Prior Lake. Please call (612) 209-8485
LOST: Female, six-months-old, black lab pup with a black spot on her tongue. Last seen on Saturday, Jan. 23 wearing a maroon colored collar in the Prior Lake Savage area. $100 reward at (651) 592-2880.
 LOST (two dogs at right) : Male tan and white short hair boarder collie (11 years) named Mikie and a black-golden doodle (1 year) named Quincey. Both are wearing Montana ID tags. Last seen near Lester/New Germany/Plato area (McLeod and Carver County boarder) on Firday, Dec. 11. $200 reward. Call (952) 353-2753.
Found: A black long-haired kitten about 4 months old with amber eyes on Thursday, Nov. 19 by the entrance of Lakefront Park on the road. Call Shelly for information at (952) 237-6375.
LOST: A deaf 14-year-old black lab/chow male named Billy (right) with limited vision, about 45 lbs., with a blue collar (may have part of his chain still attached). Last seen at the 15xxx block of Wilds Pkwy. in Prior Lake at 7 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 12. Call (612) 964-7725 or (612) 578-4380 with any information.
FOUND: Brown and White female
Alaskan Klee Kai or miniature Husky, about 40 lbs. with blue eyes found Nov. 11 near the old Shephard of the Lake Church around 150th and Aquila Ave. S. Call(952) 226-1890 for information.
(FOUND & RETURNED!) Brown and white female Jack Russell Terrier (left) found with no collar on Monday, Nov. 9, on 165th St. East, near Murphy-Hanrehan Park. For more information, call (612) 791-7740.
FOUND: White cat with black tail with green flea collar found Wednesday, Oct. 7 in the 15800 block of Franklin Tr. SE. For information, call (651) 206-6200.
LOST: Baby

pygmy goat (4 mos.), mostly black with some white on face. Last seen Monday, Aug. 31 on 227xx Balsa Circle (south of Hunt Club and southwest of Doherty’s). Just got Sunday and was gone Monday morning. The goat did not have name or tags yet. Please call Julie or Chris at (952) 440-3444.
LOST: A mostly black with tan/gold female tabby cat with stripes and a white chin went missing on Sunday, Aug. 16. She is front declawed, about 5 pounds and does not have a collar or chip implanted. She was last seen between West Ave. S.E and the lake. Call (952) 447-9804 with information.
FOUND: A young, very sweet, thin, female cat with collar (but no tags) was found Tuesday, Aug. 18 in the Deerfield townhome area of Prior Lake, near the fire station. Recently had kittens. Call (612) 845-4594 with information.
LOST: Dark brown male cat named Frank (left) with a white belly and white colored paws. He has a dark spot by his nose that looks like a mole. named frank was lost in early June near Captain Jacks in Prior Lake. Please email here with information.

Minnesota Valley Humane Society - Operates a shelter which receives
and houses animals with a trackable adoption program and deals directly hands-on with animals and their problems at (952) 894-5000.
Dog Detective -World-wide alert network that includes registered animal control departments, humane societies, rescue organizations, search/rescue groups, shelters, no-kill shelters and more.

River Valley Veterinary Service - a full-service
care facility for small animals with an equine ambulatory service at (952) 447-4118.
The best tip for making sure your pet is safe and quickly returned is to have it
collared and licensed with the City.

The Minnesota Valley Humane Society has a lot of good tips for what
to do if you lose your pet, or what to do if you find a stray animal. The best tip is to make sure your pet has a collar and
is licensed with the City.
