Lost and Found Pets
The Prior Lake Police Department is providing this webpage to help reunite pets and owners. This service is not equivalent to filing a police report for a missing animal.

To have a LOST or FOUND pet's information posted here, call (952) 447-9804 or email a photo (if possible) with information about when and where the pet was last seen, a description and contact information here, mtpeterson@cityofpriorlake.com. In the subject line write "Lost & Found."

All contact information is kept private and will not be included on this webpage without permission. Each posting will remain for one month and can be renewed for an extra month by request at (952) 447-9804.

Lost & Found

Female Welsh Corgi found on Sunday, May 4 wandering the Fourntain Hills Townhomes. Seems only a few years old. Very sweet and friendly. No coller. She is at Four Paws Animal Rescue at (952)-894-9065.

Minnesota Valley Humane Society - Operates a shelter which receives and houses animals with a trackable adoption program and deals directly hands-on with animals and their problems at (952) 894-5000.

Rainbow Animal Rescue - Prior Lake organization to Prevent Cruelty to Animals at (952) 440-3824, or Sue Larsen at (952) 226-6505. 

River Valley Veterinary Service - a full-service care facility for small animals with an equine ambulatory service at (952) 447-4118.

What else can I do?

The best tip for making sure your pet is safe and quickly returned is to have it collared and licensed with the City.

To contact the police department and file a report regarding a missing animal, call (952) 440-3555, or email police@cityofpriorlake.com.

The Minnesota Valley Humane Society has a lot of good tips for what to do if you lose your pet, or what to do if you find a stray animal. The best tip is to make sure your pet has a collar and is licensed with the City.
