Light Up the Night at Ryan Park the new lights will be turned on at 8 p.m. at Thomas Ryan Park in Prior Lake. Ceremony includes reps from PLAY, SMSC and the City. A commemorative foam baseball available to first 500 guests. The baseball/softball complex also has new bleachers, dugouts and a shelter. The tournaments Softball and baseball tounaments start at 6:30 p.m.

D.A.R.E. Day at Lakefront Park. Features a one-mile Fun Run, the 18th annual Bike-a-thon, and other games and entertainment for Prior Lake/Savage area students and their parents. For information, call 440-3555.

City Council Meeting 6 p.m., City Hall, 4646 Dakota St. SE. Agenda packets available in the Document Center. Community Senior Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the VFW in Prior Lake.
The Chamber of Commerce, City and other community groups will sponsor a luncheon free for Prior Lake seniors. A full meal will be served and the event is capped off with naming senior royalty for 2008. To get tickets, visit Club Prior, Prior Lake State Bank or the Chamber of Commerce offices.

Memorial Day City Offices are closed in observance of Memorial Day, but will reopen Tuesday, May 27. Memorial Day Parade and Program 9 a.m. – The parade begins at the Prior Lake VFW and proceeds north on Main Ave., along County Rd. 44, and concludes at Memorial Park with a program recognizing those who have given the ultimate measure for our nation.
