Welcome
to the City of Prior Lake Document Center
The City of Prior Lake provides much of its public data and forms through an
on-line database server known as LaserFiche. Documents on this server are in .pdf format, which is accessible
through the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software. If you are unable to open the files on this server, please
go to the Adobe web site and
download this free software.
To access the City of Prior Lake LaserFiche server, please follow this link. You
may be prompted to log into the server. If you are, the username is public and the password is public
(both must be lower case).
The following information is currently available on the LaserFiche server:
- Council Meeting Minutes and Agendas
- Planning Commission Meeting Minutes and Agenda materials
- City Codes and Ordinances
- Forms and Applications (including Building Permit and Employment Applications)
- Historical Information
- Property Records
- Annexation Information
These topics are accessible through the LaserFiche's left-side navigation, similar to what is seen in the image
to the right.
LaserFiche also provides a Search tool that pulls out documents that contain the information specified in a
user-determined search, allowing the public to quickly and easily find the information pertinent to their topic of
interest.
Why does the City use the LaserFiche server? By utilizing the LaserFiche software,
the City can provide "real-time" information to the public. This is the same database used by City staff on a
daily basis. By facilitating electronic access to these records, the City saves staff time and money in locating
and mailing paper records, and we think it provides greater customer service.
We are continually working to add information. The database grows everyday. If you are
unable to access records, or have questions or concerns with the software, please contact Kelly Meyer at
kmeyer@cityofpriorlake.com.
