Sixth Annual Downtown Dazzle Nov. 30
The Downtown Dazzle celebration is Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 and is cosponsored by the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce and the City of Prior Lake.
The growing community event draws hundreds of residents who warm the usual cold weather by joining in all the fun including downtown businesses staying open and carolers singing until 7 p.m.
This year Santa will be at City Hall from 5 to 7 p.m. and the Fireworks display will begin at 7:10 p.m.
The Downtown Dazzle parade is at 7:15 p.m. beginning at the corner of Pleasant and Main St. and proceeding on Main St. toward Dakota Ave.
The lighting of the holiday tree is at 7:30 p.m. in front of Flowers Naturally highlighted by carolers singing a song.
Free pony rides are on the south side of Main St. in the Integra parking lot from 6 to 8 p.m.
Two new events this year are the "Chili Warm Up" with businesses donating their favorite mild, medium or hot chili and crackers for the crowd; and the “People Choice Holiday Window Award,” for the best business window display. Ballots may be picked up earlier in the week at any participating business.
