The EDA has prepared a tax increment policy, facade improvement policy, downtown redevelopment proposal and substantially completed development of Waterfront Passage Business Park.
The EDA meets on an as-needed basis at the Council Chambers at City Hall. As a separate corporation from the city, the EDA has many powers that the City possesses.

Starting Oct. 1, 2005, the city began posting the agendas and minutes for each meeting of the Economic Development Authority. It meets on an as-needed basis.
