If you prefer, call (952) 447-9843 and the city will send you an authorization form. Mail the completed form with a voided check to: City of Prior Lake, 4646 Dakota St. SE., Prior Lake, MN 55372.
How is data on the bill collected?
In every Prior Lake home or business, a water meter is installed that measures water consumption. The water meter is connected to an MTU (Meter Transmitter Unit) which is
attached to the wall or ceiling nearby. Every 12 hours, the MTU reading is transmitted to one of 14 towers in Prior Lake and downloaded to a computer at city hall. The readings
are recorded and used to calculate the bimonthly bills.
