SEASONAL MECHANIC ASSISTANT
The City of Prior Lake is seeking a seasonal mechanics assistant to perform routine maintenance on the City’s vehicles and equipment. Work is primarily completed in the central garage in indoor shop conditions with exposure to some hazardous chemicals consistent with vehicle maintenance. Pay is $11/hour. Hours are flexible with approximately 16-24 hours per week between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. May be required to work early mornings or late evenings. ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED
Parks Advisory Committee (PAC)
The Parks Advisory Committee (PAC) provides input to the City Council regarding specific issues as set forth in the bylaws or as delegated by the City Council. Membership is voluntary and three-year appointments are made by the City Council. The PAC meets the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. The PAC serves as a resource for the Prior Lake park system; assists the City in setting open space, land acquisition and development policies; makes recommendations to Council regarding specific parks and open space development; assists in researching funding sources; and participates in and represent the Committee at community events throughout the year.
Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC)
The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee reviews community traffic safety issues and proposed solutions, provides guidance to City staff on traffic safety issues, advises the City Council on traffic safety issues and conducts public meetings on traffic safety issues as directed by the City Council.
