SUMMER SEASONAL POSITION
The City of Prior Lake employs several seasonal employees. Position openings for the May 1 through Oct. 31 summer season are listed below. Some persons will be hired for varying hours in the approximate period of May 3 through Aug. 30; and other persons for varying hours for the approximate period of May 3 through October 31. Mandatory orientation event is scheduled for May 3. Seasonal Youth Recreation Leader
Twelve persons are needed for park recreational programs. Responsibilities include planning and organizing play activities and supplies, assuring the safety and protection of the children participants and enforcing park and program rules in a non-threatening manner. Work is completed in the field in outdoor conditions with exposure to the elements. Must be 16 years of age as of May 1. Must have valid Minnesota driver’s license with driving record acceptable to the City. $9 per hour to start. For a complete job description, click on the Youth Recreation Leader link.
