Full-time Accounting Coordinator
The City of Prior Lake is seeking a government accounting professional to provide coordination of all technical and procedural operations of the Finance Division. Primary responsibilities include supervision of technical staff and overall responsibility for payroll and benefit, AP/AR, cash receipts, utility billing, capital assets, and special assessments processes. Minimum qualifications include training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or public administration with five years progressively responsible experience; and proficiency in Microsoft Excel applications. Firefighter Applicants Wanted
The City of Prior Lake has openings for volunteer (paid-on-call) firefighters. Prior Lake Fire Department is looking for team players available to respond to numerous fire and rescue calls and attend weekly meetings/training. Applicant must be at least 18 years old, live within close proximity to a fire station, and must complete physical agility and stress tests, as well as a driver’s license background check.
