The warming house (5000 Kop Parkway), sledding hill and ice rinks are open at Lakefront Park whenever weather allows. Check our warming house hotline at (952) 447-9825 for most current updates. The warming house is closed if the air temperature is -5 degrees below zero and/or the wind chill is -25 below zero.
The sledding hill is also open, dependent upon weather – so watch for open or closed signs. Information and updates are also available in the Prior Lake American, by calling the Recreation Department at (952) 447-9820. Please watch the Prior Lake American and This Week Prior Lake for specific dates and times. Concessions will be available during regular warming house operating hours all season long.
Pleasure rink locations are not lit and do not have a warming house (with the exception of Lakefront Park, which has two boarded hockey rinks and one pleasure rink.
In addition to the rinks at Lakefront Park, 12 pleasure rinks will be maintained at neighborhood parks throughout the community this winter. Rinks will open and close as the weather permits. If you have any questions on locations, please call (952)

Locations include: Boudins Park, Carriage Hills Park, Green Oaks Park, Indian Ridge Park, Lakefront Park, Northwood Park, Oakland Beach Park, Raspberry Ridge Park, Sand Point Park, Sunset Hills Park, Willows Park and Woodridge Park.
