pet dogThe Prior Lake Police Department seeks to reunite Prior Lake pets and their owners. If you have lost or found a pet, contact 4 Paws Animal Control at (952) 894-9065. 4 Paws is contracted with the City of Prior Lake and other government entities to provide animal control services. Be prepared with a description of the animal, tag and collar information (if you have it) and when and where the pet was last seen.

NOTE: Contacting 4 Paws Animal Control is not equivalent to filing a police report for a missing animal. To contact the police department and file a report regarding a missing animal, call (952) 440-3555, or email the Prior Lake Police Department.

Protecting Paws Animal Rescue - Foster-based rescue that utilizes boarding if there are no other options. Incorporates training while increasing the adoptability of animals rescued from shelters, pounds and unsafe homes.
Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Animal Control Facility: Open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Call the SMSC Public Works Department at (952) 496-6176. After hours and weekends, call the Mystic Lake Security Dispatch at (952) 496-7222. They will page the person on call.
Carver Scott Humane Society: A foster-home-based, volunteer organization serving the southwestern metro area including Carver, Scott and Hennepin counties at (952) 368-3553.
Fido Finder: World-wide alert network that includes registered animal control departments, humane societies, rescue organizations, search/rescue groups, shelters, no-kill shelters and more.
