Kids with Recs

The Recreation Department coordinates and manages the toddler, youth, adult and family recreation programs and trips offered throughout the year. The department also manages and operates the Club Prior Activity Center, coordinates the use of the city’s park facilities, including beaches, athletic fields, ice rinks and the skate park.

YOUTH ATHLETICS AND OTHER PROGRAMS
The City of Prior Lake offers adult (male/female) summer and fall softball leagues only. Prior Lake Athletics for Youth, the Prior Lake Hockey Association and Prior Lake Soccer Club offer youth sports for the city. All of the following organizations and athletic associations operate independently of the Prior Lake Recreation Department.

RESERVE A SHELTER
Reservations are handled online at Activities/Rec Desk website. Find the "Rentals" menu tab and browse available dates and facilities. If you cannot find the date to add to your cart, the facility is not available on that date. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance. Please read all instructions and policities carefully. All neighborhood park shelters are free and are used on a first-come, first-served basis. We only charge fees for community parks which are Lakefront, Sand Point and Memorial.

KOP FAMILY COMMUNITY GARDEN AT LAKEFRONT PARK
Prior Lake hosts a community garden on the Kop Farm property at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake. To reserve a plot, click on the blue REC button above, under "Rentals." Plots are filled in accordance with availability early in the year through reservations.

'TRIP' PARKS AND TRAILS ONLINE MAPPING APPLICATION
The TRIP and Trails On-line Mapping Application is a great resource for searching and mapping parks, trails and amenities within both Scott and Carver Counties. TRIP is hosted by the Carver County GIS Dept.
