Local Laker Link (LLL) Summer Transit Service (Summers only)

The City's 2011 LLL for summer school students will run from June 15 to July 15 for $2.25 per ride. This circulator takes students from various school and park locations in the city to summer school classes at Hidden Oaks Middle School and Prior Lake High School. For more information, routes and schedules download the Prior Lake Local Laker Link brochure.

The City's 2011 LLL Shuttle Bus for local summer shopping runs weekdays (June 15 to Sept. 2) from Prior Manor, Lakefront Plaza, Club Prior and Keystone to popular local shopping destinations like Walmart, Sam's Club, Burnsville Center, Target, Cab and Rainbow for $1 per ride. For more information, routes and schedules, download the LLL Shuttle Bus Summer Shopper flier.

Laker Lines Downtown Express Service (All Year)

Looking for a break from the hassles of bumper-to-bumper traffic and lack of parking in downtown Minneapolis? Try Laker Lines, the city of Prior Lake's transit service or BlueXpress, a joint transit service between Shakopee Transit and Laker Lines. Click on BlueXpress for more information.

The city has a Park-and-Ride at the Safe Haven for Youth facility, 13780 McKenna Rd., across from the Shephard's Path campus. There is also a convenient park-and-ride at the Southbridge Crossings Transit Station at County Rd. 18 and Crossings Blvd.

Laker Lines buses roll year-round with the exception of New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Buses continue to roll up Highway 169 to Interstate Highway 394 en route to downtown Minneapolis. For schedules, route information, and other transit links, visit the BlueXpress webpage.

Dial-A-Ride

Dial-A-Ride is a shared-ride service by reservation only. Door-to-door assistance is available and the buses are all wheelchair lift-equipped. Scott County Transit integrates with the Dial-A-Ride services of the surrounding communities to take you anywhere you need to go in the seven county metro area. Rides are reserved on a first-call, first served basis up to three days in advance. Call (952) 496-8341 (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) weekdays to reserve a ride.

Calling at least 24 hours in advance is recommended. Visit Scott County's Transit webpage for more information about transit options.
